We made it to Colorado!

Today was a great day! Everyone slept well last night and we took our time getting ready this morning. We did experience some excitement as we entered the mountains surrounding the San Luis Valley. We began to overheat and we had to call for road side assistance. I was hoping that we were just low on coolant but no such luck. A very kind gentleman named Gabe from Gabe’s Emergency Roadside met us at the RV on the side of the mountain. He blew out the radiator for us and wished us luck. Praise God! That seemed to take care of the problem. We were able to finish our journey into Alamosa, CO and pull into our RV site. We were only 3 hours later than planned – it could have been a lot worse. We are excited to wake up and explore Great Sand Dunes National Park tomorrow!
